Liverpool 3-2 PSG: Alexander Arnold is a world class defender and 5 things we learned

Liverpool have done it, they've beaten PSG 3-2 to continue their incredible winning steak. They've made six wins in a row while scoring 15 goals and conceding just 5.
Today's game was beautiful, it had everything required of a great football match. Both side where going for the kill and the pace of the game was exhilarating.
Jurgen Klopp now has the team to win a trophy and hopefully this season will end on a high.
Here are the five things we learned:
1. Trent Alexander Arnold is a world class defender-
Arnold played more of attacking fullback rather a defensive fullback today. The ease in which he joined the attack was frightening knowing that Neymar was hugging the touchline expecting a through ball to burst forward.
Rather than get scared, Arnold was so confident today that Neymar had to drift deeper into midfield to make his runs forward.
2. Mohamed Salah is too rusty in front of goal- The Egyptian international is yet to hit his strides but with game time there's ev…

Firmino wonder goal stun Neymar and PSG

Liverpool have started their Champions League campaign with an emphatic win over PSG at Anfield.
The Reds where able to score three sublime goals from Daniel Sturridge who replaced Firmino in the starting line up by turning in pinpoint cross into the back of the net before, James Milner scored a delightful spot kick.
Although, PSG did pull back from Meunier and Mbappe before a late, late goal from Roberto Firmino ensured Liverpool where going to win the game.
Liverpool have now won six consecutive games in all competition to set a new club record.

Can Liverpool defender Van Dijk stop Edinson Cavan?

Rated as the best defender in the world Virgl van Dijk has consistently performed in the biggest of stages and in the run to the final of the Champions League, he was arguably the best defender in the world.

Van Dijk brought leadership, organisation at the back, composure and off course, areal prowess to deal with set piece that has hunted Liverpool for years. His presence has helped massively in the development of Andrew Robertson, Alexander Arnold, Joe Gomez and even last year World Cup finalist Dejan Lovren.

But now, the world most expensive defender will be facing three of the finest attackers in Europe. He will face Mbappe, Neymar and Edinson Cavani at Anfield and will be hoping to put in world class display against trio.

Although, defending is a collective responsibility but a time will come when Van Dijk will be isolated and then expected to deal with a dangerous situation. There's no doubt the dutch defender is a talented player but, the question is, can he really stop Urug…

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah: PSG won't be easy but, i am confident i will score goals

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is confident and determined to provide the inspiration needed to beat PSG in the first UEFA Champions League match of Group C.

Salah who scored ten goals along with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino en-route to the final, believes he can continue the goal scoring streak.

"The game {Liverpool vs PSG} will be tough to play but, we have prepared very well for the game", Salah told reporters.

"PSG have very good players who can hurt us, they're fast and deadly upfront so our defense must be ready.. I won't talk too much about what we have to do but i believe i can score the goals needed to win the match or create them for my teammates."

Mohamed Salah will start the match but doubts are hanging on Roberto Firmino's fitness after picking up an eye injury in Liverpool's 2-1 win over Spurs.

Carragher gives reasons why Chelsea star Eden Hazard and not Salah is the best player in the league

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has lauded praises on Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard who started this season in fine fashion. Hazard has now scored 5 goals with 2 assists including a hat-trick in 5 Premier League appearances.

Carragher who was very impressed with his display believes the Belgium international is the best player in the league not Mohamed Salah or the injured Kevin de Bruyne.

"I think Hzard is the best player in the Premier League", Carragher told Sky Sports.

"What i mean by that is, De Bruyne and Salah were the best players last season. I'm talking over a four or five-year period if i think 'who's the man?'- and i think he's fantastic."
"I think he was the best player at the World Cup. He should have won player of the tournament. The great thing that i love and say about every top attacking player is they can't be bullied, they can't be knocked off the ball".

Carragher statement has contracted Alan Sharer's c…

Jamie Carragher warns Marcus Rashford: Leave Manchester United or you become the next Danny Welbeck

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has again advised Marcus Rashford to leave Manchester United and join a club where he will be played regularly as centre forward.

Jose Mourinho might have come out with a staunch defense over the minutes and game time Rashford has had under him but, the attacker is hardly used on a regular basis neither is he played centrally. He is either used in left or right wing and not as a centre forward.

Carragher meanwhile reminded him that his situation is not too different from what Danny Welback faced when he playing at United. The attacker hardly played in the center forward position and was used in the left or right wing before been benched and sold to Arsenal where is struggling as well.

"I like Danny Welbeck as a player and i hope this doesn't come across disrespectful but Marcus Rashford does not want to become Danny Welbeck", Carragher said on Sky Sports Monday night.

"What i mean by that is that he came through at United as a centre…
